For my Japanese collection I worked with the Jewellery Industry Innovation Centre (JIIC), Part of the Birmingham City School of Jewellery set up to assist the jewellery and silversmithing industries with new technology applications. The JIIC has provided me with the opportunity to assess and research new technologies with help and support to develop and produce a new range. The collection was inspired by Japanese textiles and is reflected in the jewellery. The collection was created using CAD CAM, Rapid Prototyping then made in silver incorporating oxidized silver, 22ct yellow gold and cold enamel.
